Foundation Botox Training

The Scottish School of Aesthetics is a CPD-accredited training centre specialising in training aspiring students how to safely perform non-surgical aesthetics procedures. One of our most popular is our foundation anti-wrinkle (botox training) This course is part home-based learning, half on-site practical, before attending your course you will first learn about the human anatomy and physiology, health and safety to make sure regardless of your background (medical or non-medic) you will have sufficient knowledge about the human body to safely move on to the practical learning.

What Areas Will I Learn?

Our foundation botox training will cover the 3 most common areas (Forehead, Frown & Crows Feet)

Frown

The frown encompasses two groups of muscles the Procerus and the Corrugator, these muscles create dynamic wrinkles caused by movement (frowning etc) The frown line is one of the most common areas to inject botox. In this foundation course, we will show you how to safely treat this area to help restore a more youthful look to the face

Forehead

The forehead is controlled by the frontalis muscle which again will create a dynamic wrinkle as your forehead has a lot of movement. The forehead is probably one of the areas clients will notice develop the earliest and is one of the most popular areas to treat.

Crows feet

Crows feet again is incredibly popular as a treatment area, you may also have heard of it called laughing lines or character lines. This will become more prominent as you age. Treating crow’s feet with botox will help reduce the appearance of these lines by relaxing the muscles around the side of your eye
